President Obama wins third and final presidential debate. The saddest thing to be learned about the 2012 Presidential Debate season is how soon people are willing to dismiss or completely ignore the accomplishments of the president.
When Mitt Romney “won” the first debate by being aggressive (i.e. rude to the PBS host, Big Bird, and Black POTUS), in the crossed eyes of nearly everyone, Romney was, aw shucks, presidential!

When President Barack Obama won the second Presidential Debate of 2012, the media asked, “Who do you think won the debate?”  Then the next day’s polls still reflected opinions three days pre-debate.  Not so subtly adding a little padding to the Romney edge.

When President Obama decisively won last night’s final Presidential Debate of 2012, the wells of passion shown the governor’s (debatable) victory seemed to dry up.  All of a sudden, surrounding President Obama’s win, there was pseudo-neutrality.  A return to unbiased integrity in reporting, albeit fake.

Since people are pretending not to know who won the debate, I’ll tell you who won the debate.  I’ll tell you who won all of the debates on substance.  On style.  And with class. President Barack Obama.

“President Obama wins third and final Presidential Debate . . . whether THEY say so or not.”

President Barack Obama is a class act.  Regardless of who is unwilling or afraid to acknowledge it, he has been from the start.  No one has to guess whether President Obama likes children, Big Bird, teachers, the poor, the middle class and women.  No one has to guess whether he cares about them or whether he loves this country.  No one has to wonder where he will stand tomorrow on the issues.  No one has to worry that he will say anything—even if he doesn’t believe it—or do anything—especially, if he doesn’t believe in it—to get votes.

Barack Obama, the man, has shown us the integrity, dignity, and graciousness that his own country and citizens won’t (or refuse) to show him.  Even in the highest position in the land, as President of the United States.

Foreign policy is more than jumpin’ on a cavalry of white horses and thrustin’ through the enemy with trusty bayonets.  It’s diplomacy.  Something Governor Shoot-First-And-Aim-Later lacks.  Something our country could extend more often to our own president, domestically.  If it had any manners.
