Suits Needs Soap

Is-the-S-bomb-stinking-up-Suits?

The S-bomb is unsuitable for Suits.

Watching Suits this past winter season was shocking to say the least.  Seems the USA network legal drama, starring Gabriel Macht, Patrick J. Adams, and Gina Torres, has picked up a new word that, when dropped, smells a little something like THIS.

Just unscramble the word THIS.

So sad.  Suits is sharp, sophisticated, and well written.  Such a smart show should never resort to sprinkling poop for spice.  It’s unsuitable.

The involuntary and uncontrollable urge to number the times the S-bomb is dropped asserts that THIS is a distraction.  Constipates efforts to concentrate on absorbing dialogue.

In other words, Suits drops the S-bomb like it ain’t THIS!

What-is-THIS-you-ask?

Suits: Dropping the S-bomb like building blocks.

Toddlers do THIS all the time.  They pick up a block.  If the block falls out of hand: “THIS!”  They stack a block. If the block falls: “THIS!”  If they tumble over while picking the block up again: “THIS!”  After a spell, it becomes impossible to discern cursing from sneezing.

Toddlers are expected to wear out a new word like a diaper, especially if it’s dirty.  Adults, however, are expected to control their outbursts.

Consequently, THIS may have been less noticeable on Suits if THIS had been peppered less liberally throughout each episode.  Too much pepper tends to burn.  Cause accidents.  Unintentionally stain an otherwise decent suit.

By season 4, let’s hope that the gifted scribes and producers of Suits have cut THIS other word for crap.  Suits has been rinsed thoroughly with soap.  And by Thursday, 10 p.m. EST, we can all resume enjoying the solid substance of the show without the flood of excess excretions!
