LeBron James made headlines with the recent listing of his amazing Miami mansion for 17 million. Now Cavs point guard Kyrie Irving is making real estate news of his own.
With the purchase of a home passed on to him by an international celebrity, he’ll be getting some practice being a homeowner.
Irving purchased the 5,500 square foot home located near Quicken Loans Arena last month for $800, 000 from former Cleveland Cavaliers guard Daniel “Boobie” Gibson and his estranged wife Keysia Cole. Keysia Cole is the beloved platinum R&B singer-songwriter with whom Boobie has a son.
The cute couple formerly called the luxurious Westlake, Ohio property home. The spacious Tudor, built in 2007 on over an acre, flaunts four bedrooms and six bathrooms along with all the usual high-end balls and whistles.
Considering Kyrie Irving, the No. 1 overall pick in 2011 and the 2012 rookie of the year, agreed to a five-year contract extension with the Cavaliers in July that will pay him $90 million over five seasons, it looks as though he bought this house for a song.
Come take a tour of Irving’s new home! Moving forward, this is where Kyrie will be playing post game. Thanks for the assist, Boobie!
