For those of you who are unfamiliar with The Game as a rapper, you may recall that he is a Dr. Dre protégé and only missed being one of Sean Comb’s bad boys by five months. The Game, who rose to fortune and fame with his debut album The Documentary (2005), has taken a stand on Instagram to denounce the court bringing charges against embattled actor, comedian, and American father figure Bill Cosby. But is that all he has to say?
The Game refers to the sexual assault allegations against Bill Cosby as “musty old crimes that are without evidence or proof.” However, recognizing the gravity of rape allegations, he also adds he “would not wish rape on any woman of any race.”
The implication is that the sexual assault case is a case of his word against hers, hers, hers, hers, hers, hers, hers, hers…and hers. Or rather, the sexual assault case against Bill Cosby predominantly involves circumstantial evidence.
The Game is appalled that a circumstantial case is being pursued so vigorously as other cases, involving murder with actual 3rd party eyewitnesses and actual physical evidence, such as video, are casually dismissed in the (obviously crossed) eyes of the law.
The Game sites, among others, the mysterious jail cell hanging of Sandra Bland; the gunning down of Trayvon Martin by toy cop/nut job George Zimmerman; and the tragic murder of Tamir Rice, a 12 year-old minding his own business at a recreational center when Cleveland police mistook his toy gun for the real deal and shot him to death within seconds of their arrival.
While you may not be a fan of rappers or their views, in this age of hyper-political correctness, those who still have the courage to take a stand and voice their opinion should be acknowledged . . . especially when actual views are too often whispered in fear behind a cupped hand.

Do you think The Game is taking a legitimate stand or should he just take a seat?
