I might be a little old-ish…
but I can’t wait until grown-ish returns on FreeForm in January 2019.
According to comingsoon.net, the Freeform Network comedy series grown-ish has started production on season two on location in Los Angeles, California. Reprising their roles from season one, Yara Shahidi will return as Zoey Johnson, Trevor Jackson as Aaron Jackson, Francia Raisa as Ana Torres, Emily Arlook as Nomi Segal, Jordan Buhat as Vivek Shah, and Deon Cole as Professor Charles Telphy. Season one guest stars Chloe Bailey, Halle Bailey, and Luka Sabbat, given their obvious popularity, will also be returning to the series as regulars, with Diggy Simmons returning in a recurring role.
The grown-ish premiere last season was Freeform’s highest debut for a comedy in nearly six years.
Freeform’s grown-ish, a half-hour comedy examining current social issues and complexities facing both students and administrators, follows Zoey (Yara Shahidi), Dre (Anthony Anderson) and Rainbow’s (Tracee Ellis Ross) popular, entitled, stylish and socially active 17-year-old daughter from ABC’s Emmy-nominated comedy black-ish, as she ventures off into her freshman year of college at Cal U.
The series is produced by ABC Signature Studios and is executive produced by Kenya Barris, Helen Sugland, E. Brian Dobbins, Anthony Anderson, Laurence Fishburne, and Julie Bean.
Have been waiting long time for this to surface again, can’t wait no more for this. Hope it’s just as comedic as previous one. Goodluck with production grown-ish crew, and I’m little curious-ish.
Great news for grown-ish fans, surely I’m one and I hope it gets out soon because it’s such an entertaining series.
