For any news network, leadership, integrity, professionalism, talent, and ratings are top priorities.  Blah, blah, blah, who gives a sh!t.

When CNN hired Chris Licht, viewers expected some changes.  Viewers might have even expected the loss of a few beloved anchors and journalists.  What no viewer thought Chris Licht would do is hike his leg and piss on each and every little thing viewers loved about CNN.  Including its liberal blue lining.  By chasing Fox tails.

All of Chris Licht’s knee-jerk juggling of talent.  Throwing one here.  Another there.  First they’re sitting.  Then they’re standing.  Those on the weekend show up during the weekday.  Those working weekdays show up during the weekend.  Trying out one anchor after the other for Primetime when some haven’t earned their chops during morning, noon, or evening time.  Kaitlan Collins, doe in the headlights?!  In search of her top lip?!

All this is to say, however poorly said, is that this is the “genius” of Chris Licht.

If you’re like most avid CNN watchers, you’re incoherent with anger at what Chris Licht has been allowed off his leash to undo to CNN.

For literally ripping CNN apart at its liberal seams, Chris Licht knows his time is howling to an end just as abrupt at CNN.  Rest assured Chris Licht will not stay.  Chris Licht cannot stay.  It only makes sense that Chris Licht, already bone collecting, would finally throw Don Lemon to the Fox wolves on his shameful way out the door.

Fox’s firing of Tucker Carlson and CNN’s firing of Don Lemon on the SAME day is highly suspicious.  It’s also no more shocking that Carlson and Lemon, according to Inside Edition, have lawyered up to fight their surprise terminations with the SAME lawyer.  As it is so often said, we can’t make this sh!t up.

When CNN listens to Fox, conservatives, and other assorted lunatics and toothless racists to determine whether Don Lemon should stay or go, that’s a problem.  Just because lunatics have and spend more time venting and spewing their hateful views against a black, gay man with liberal views does not mean that there aren’t just as many, if not more, rational human beings who love and embrace Don Lemon.  Too often, (as is the case with Black women), haters tend to veil their deep hatred for Blackness by disparaging something neutral, such as how well Blacks perform their jobs.

“I am stunned,” Don Lemon said, arguing that management did not have “the decency” to inform him of his firing directly.  “At no time was I ever given any indication that I would not be able to continue to do the work I have loved at the network.”

Those who love Don Lemon are utterly disgusted that after 17 years of service, CNN, if it just had to let him go, would deny him a proper send off.  And for what?  For certain so-called “recent comments” in response to wannabe-white-and-president Nikki Haley and her cousin Vivek Rama-sham-o-rama who might wannabe-white-and-president, too, talking out his a$$ about Black History?  Blowing Fox’s dog whistles on CNN?

Everyone wants to ignore that this conversation about who’s “too old” and “past their prime” started with Nikki Haley.  Clearly, Don Lemon botched the sentiments he intended to express, which is to say, this chick, Nikki Haley, who is no spring chicken herself, shouldn’t have been calling the rooster, Biden, old.  This is what Don Lemon intended.  Anyone who knows Don Lemon knows that his comments were a failed attempt to support President Biden.

Trump NEVER should have been allowed to sully the office of the President of these United States.  Since then, every redneck lunatic with a gun and their Uncle Tom cousins have galvanized, proving that this country, rotten from the root, suffers from a cancer called RACISM.  Chris Licht, desperate for ratings, any ratings whatsoever, has turned CNN into Fox Lite 2.0, slobbering after crumbs from Fox’s racist viewership.  A table surrounded by the MAGA lunatics that Fox feeds and breeds with a daily diet of thrice-vomited lies and dog whistles.

Shame on you Chris Licht.  And CNN.  Too cowardly to find your own way.  Too cowardly to fire Don directly.  Typical textbook sabotage, leak a few behind-the-scenes issues to the ig’nant but salivating public and then fire “for cause.”

The half million viewers you have left will not watch CNN until Chris Licht is a bit of Fox fur blowing on the off-ramp of CNN news.

The half million viewers you have left will not watch CNN again until Don Lemon (who represents those who look like me) returns after Licht’s exit.  Should he even have a desire to return to Fox Lite’s pee pad.

If a black man had made the bone-headed decisions Chris Licht has made, that black man would have been roadkill in less than a month.

Thanks Chris Licht for erasing the “black ink” from the weekdays and leaving a few “smudges” on the weekend when no one—white, literally woke, or presumably important—is watching.

Can’t wait to see where Don Lemon winds up next.  Hope they will treat him with a little more respect.  Hope they won’t muzzle him and then sit him between two of the most boring bodies on the damn planet only to blame him for the phuckin’ phailure.
