Prince’s impossibly pretty protege and former flame passed away Monday in a California hospital to the dismay of fans who loved her as Vanity, the lead singer of Vanity 6, or as Denise Katrina Matthews, the soul, few if any of us really knew.

If you’re a Christian, you’re pretty much happy when any one is courageous enough to mention Jesus’s name anywhere these days, but especially in a movie. Radio Personality Russ Parr is more than just a voice on the radio. As screenwriter and director of “Hear No Evil,” he’s proven he’s more than able to talk about hot and controversial topics, he’s willing to create some, too.
As a born-again Christian who serves the one true God, who is Almighty, Omniscient, Omnipotent, and Omnipresent, for the life of me, I cannot understand why Muslims go buck-wild whenever miscellaneous individuals insult their god. Wif crazed protesters foamin’ at the mouf. With fire. Violence. Murder.
Prosperity is defined as the state of being successful and flourishing. Most associate prosperity with material wellness only.
But, however you define it, we all want it.
Dr. Creflo Dollar is shepherd of World Changers Church International. He teaches his flock that prosperity for the Christian is not just about accumulating money. While the Bible clearly states that the love of money is the root of all evil (I Timothy 6:10) and not money itself, Dr. Dollar believes that prosperity is about possessing a sense of wellness in all areas of a person’s life: mind, body, soul, and spirit. And that includes financial wellness.
“Nothing missing. Nothing wanted,” says Creflo Dollar.
So why then do some of us (Christians, too!) seem so bothered by the prosperity of a Man of God?
I think flying planes into a building was a faith-based initiative.
I think religion is a neurological disorder.

January 20, 1956 – ?
I was half-watching television one late night, mostly flicking through channels to give my restless brain something to light on. On Piers Morgan, I heard Bill’s flesh say OUT LOUD for the Good Lord to hear that he is an actual atheist! Blackbiting aside, this was disturbing, for I genuinely like Bill Maher. I think he’s both witty and wise with a cute, but sneaky boyish look. And it was unbearable thinking that when I arrive in heaven with my entourage, when he puts off his tabernacle, he won’t be present to entertain me into the really beyond.
